Huernia Zebrina – Characteristic
The Huernia Zebrina is a succulent that is very popular with collectors because of its very showy flowers. It owes its name to the typical streaks of its corolla and its stems are fleshy and characterized by a typical dentition of plants of this genus. Also on the corolla, there is a shiny burgundy-coloured central ring in relief with a rubber-like appearance, a feature that makes it resemble a sort of life preserver, hence the nickname “lifebuoy”. It is a very simple plant to grow and needs very little maintenance.
