Variegated – Online Selling

Variegated plants are plants that are characterized by the lack of chlorophyll in localized areas. Chlorophyll occurs naturally in most leaves and young stems of plants and is commonly understood as a mixture of two chlorophylls. Both types of chlorophyll absorb blue-violet and red-orange light and do not absorb green and yellow light, which are reflected.

Chlorophyll photosynthesis takes place inside the plant and is divided into two phases: the bright phase and a dark phase. The function of chlorophyll is, in extreme synthesis, that of transforming the absorbed light energy into chemical energy making possible the synthesis process of the various organic compounds starting from water and carbon dioxide.
