Aloe – Online sale

Aloe is a perennial plant that belongs to the Aloeacee family. It can reach a meter in height and has pointed leaves that have numerous thorns at the edges. The flowers are usually yellow and red inflorescences and grow in the centre of the plant, rising above it.

There are about 30 different species, although when we talk about this plant we generally refer to Aloe vera as it is generally the most widespread and known.

It is a plant that, even if it is widespread all over the world, actually prefers tropical climates. This is thanks to its succulent leaves rich in water, a feature that allows it to survive even longer periods of drought.

In the Mediterranean areas, it is particularly widespread in hot and arid areas and in the rest of the world, it can be found in countries such as Arabia, India, the coasts of Africa and Australia.
