Caudiciformes – For sale online

The caudex plants are plants that have developed their succulence in the stem, which with the accumulation of water swells to form a sort of bottle. Their stems are covered on the outside by a more or less thick bark called caudex. The plants are shaped like a thick, fleshy large tuber.

These caudex plants have an enlarged stem that acts as a water reservoir. This stem swells during the rainy season, and in dry periods it distributes liquids throughout the plant. When it is swollen it almost looks like the stem of a tree, devoid of leaves, woody and without branches.
