Frailea – Online Selling
The Frailea owes their name to the first person who discovered this species, the botanist Manuel Fraile. These plants have a characteristic small round shape that does not exceed 3 centimetres in diameter. These dark green and brownish seedlings tend to grow close together creating small bushes. Their colour makes them camouflaged with the rocks and with the type of surrounding environment.
Their stems are short and covered with decorative yellow or brown thorns and produce a very showy flowering characteristic that has a tendency to pollinate even if the flowers open for a very limited period of time.
