The Thelocactus Rinconensis var. nidulans is a solitary Cactaceae native to Mexico that has a globular green-grey stem covered with a characteristic woolly down. This Thelocactus is covered with several pronounced tubercles and its stem has long and dense thorns ranging in colour from grey to black.
