Notocactus Succineus – Characteristics
The Notocactus Succineus is a small perennial Cactaceae native to Brazil, also known as Parodia subs. succinea. Its globular stem can become branched and even become columnar branched at the base towards adulthood. It has numerous vertical and spiral ribs where there are white and fluffy areoles from which short and yellowish spines emerge. Flowering occurs in the summer, generating large yellow flowers at the apex of the plant.
