Description
Mammillaria bocasana – Characteristics
This Mammillaria bocasana is a very particular and sought after monstrous cultivar that is actually a cactus. Although it looks much more similar to a succulent, it has a very strange shape, hence the name in ‘monstrous’, and is formed by many green and purple globules only a few centimetres large which tend to cluster and form thin whitish thorns emerge.
The Mammillaria Genus belongs to the Cactoideae, which is the largest subfamily of the Cactaceae family.
