The Gymnocalycium Ragonesei Salinas is a slow-growing Cactaceae with a characteristic habit that can be both solitary and branched. It belongs to the genus Gymnocalycium and its stem has a globular shape and depressed at the apex with a brown-greyish colour and some rounded ribs. Its stem is studded with white areoles with tiny clear, flattened spines protruding from them. Flowering occurs in the summer, generating beautiful white flowers.
