Epithelantha Micromeris – Characteristics

The Epithelantha Micromeris is a small, globular cactus with a spherical shape native to Northern Mexico and the Southern United States. It has a stem covered with small tubercles, where dense and small greyish-white thorns emerge from the tips covered with woolly areoles. This plant belongs to a genus formed by a single species, of which there are several variants. It usually forms a single globular stem, although it can be found in small bushes. Flowering occurs in late winter until early spring, producing small pink flowers.
