Description
Echinocereus pectinatus rubrispinus – Characteristics
The Echinocereus pectinatus rubrispinus is a species of cactus belonging to the Cactaceae family, it has a globose or cylindrical stem with a thickness between 7 and 10 cm, and from 12 to 23 ribs. Its areoles are green with red-purple spines. During the beginning of summer, it produces large funnel-shaped magenta flowers, green at the base and with a white throat. It can reach a height of about 8-35 cm.
